At the cloud security layer we filter your internet-facing applications and APIs through CDN, WAF and DDoS protection before traffic ever reaches them.

Every internet-facing service is a continuously scanned target
The reality on the cloud security side is harsher than most organizations assume: a service exposed to the internet meets automated scanning within minutes of going live. Most of that traffic is not a targeted attack but a constant stream of scans looking for a gap. Left unfiltered it consumes resources and, one day, genuinely finds something.
A web application firewall works by filtering that traffic before it reaches the application. The real difference, though, is in the configuration: a WAF left on default rules either blocks genuine users or lets the targeted request through. Tuning the rules to how the application actually behaves matters more than buying the product.
DDoS protection and CDN deliver two different benefits at the same layer. DDoS protection absorbs volumetric attacks close to their source; a CDN serves content near the user, improving speed and reducing load on the infrastructure. Combined with bot management, it becomes possible to separate real users from automated traffic.

Frequently asked questions
Once we deploy a WAF, will genuine users get blocked?
Protection runs in monitoring mode at first, so you can see which requests would have been blocked against real traffic. Blocking mode is enabled once the false positives are cleared.
How would we know we are under a DDoS attack?
The first sign is usually the service slowing down or failing to respond. With the protection layer in place, attack traffic is filtered before it reaches your infrastructure and reaches you only as a report.
Our site is already fast — do we need a CDN?
A CDN is not only about speed; it hides your origin server from direct access and acts as a buffer during sudden traffic spikes. In most organizations the security benefit outweighs the performance one.
Do you know how often your internet-facing services are being scanned?
Let us review your external attack surface and see which services sit unprotected and how much of the traffic is automated.
